Dear St. Teresa’s Parishioners:
I would like to thank all parishioners for their assistance in helping us to implement health protocols during our
Return to Church over the past several months. It has been so wonderful to be able to celebrate the sacraments
together once again.
Over the past 24 hours, we learned that a parishioner has tested positive for Covid-19. The individual was present at Mass on Monday, November 2 at 7 pm. The parishioner was wearing a mask and appropriately distanced throughout their time at church. They are currently feeling well and in a period of self-isolation at home.
Both the Archdiocese of Toronto and Toronto Public Health are aware of the positive test.
It has been determined that this case presents a very low risk of transmission. At this time, we ask that all parishioners continue to self-monitor for symptoms. As we have said in the past, if you are not feeling well or are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, please do not come to church, connect with your family doctor or consider
getting tested for Covid-19.
A self-assessment tool can be found by visiting:
https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/. You can also contact the Toronto Public Health Hotline at (416) 338-7600 between 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. if you have questions about Covid-19. Translation is available in multiple languages.
We will share any relevant updates as necessary. Thank you for your continued co-operation as we pray for all those who are sick and those who are caring for them.
With prayerful best wishes,
In Christ,
Father Jozef Morawski and Staff
